Creventic has announced that its Prototype Cup Germany series will transform into Prototype Cup Europe for 2026.
Prototype Cup Germany was established in 2022, as a collaboration between Creventic and ADAC, with the series running sprint events for LMP3 machinery. Disappointing grids last season, which featured as low as eight cars, had placed the future of the series in doubt, with Creventic today announcing an evolution into Prototype Cup Europe.
The previous event format of 2x 55-minute races, with both featuring a mandatory pit stop, has been retained, as has the partnership with the ACO and Michelin.
This has allowed Creventic to offer the champion of Prototype Cup Europe a reserved spot on the grid for the 2027 Michelin Le Mans Cup.
Creventic has also confirmed that the series will switch to the Toyota V6-powered third generation of LMP3 cars, which debuted in MLMC and the European Le Mans Series last season. Bronze and Silver-graded drivers can compete either alone, or in a pairing, whilst Gold-rated drivers are only permitted in partnership with a Bronze.
Prototype Cup Europe will begin at Mugello from 20th to 22nd March, on the support bill of Creventic’s 24H Series Europe event, before rounds at the Nürburgring, Monza and Spa-Francorchamps.

“We look back at four successful years with ADAC and now continue the series with the latest generation LMP3. The LMP3 product is proven to be a great concept and we look forward to making the series more international as Prototype Cup Europe.
“Together with our longstanding partners ACO and Michelin, we aim to provide an additional program to the teams that already compete in the well-known LMP3 series. With no clashes with the Le Mans Cup we offer an appealing series for a reasonable budget.”

- R1: Mugello, Italy (24H Series), 20th to 22nd March
- R2: Nürburgring, Germany (24H Series), 3rd to 5th July
- R3: Monza, Italy (Eurocup-3), 31st July to 2nd August
- R4: Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium (992 Endurance Cup), 3rd to 4th September
