Jaubert Signs With Kessel For Maiden LMGT3 Campaign

Kessel Racing has completed its driver line-up for the 2026 European Le Mans Series, with the signing of Genesis FIA WEC Hypercar driver Mathys Jaubert.

20-year-old Jaubert, who is still rated Silver and told reporters late in 2025 that he wished to pursue a drive in GT3 racing in 2026, will drive the team’s #57 Ferrari 296 LMGT3 Evo.

He’ll share driving duties with team regular Takeshi Kimura and Ferrari factory driver Daniel Serra, who was announced to be returning to the Swiss outfit last week.

Jaubert made his ELMS debut last season, piloting the Genesis Trajectory Programme-backed #18 IDEC Sport ORECA 07 – Gibson LMP2, and starring on the way to three class victories and third in the LMP2 drivers’ championship, with his performances earning him a race seat in Genesis’ GMR-001 Hypercar for 2026.

Although new to GT3 racing, the Frenchman does have previous GT experience. Jaubert has competed in one-make Porsche Cup competition for the past three seasons and finished as runner-up in the 2024 Porsche Carrera Cup France.

Kessel Racing’s sister #74 Ferrari will be driven by Andrew Gilbert, Fran Rueda and rookie Romain Leroux in the ELMS this year.

The 2026 European Le Mans Series begins at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Spain on 10th to 12th April 2026.
