Century Motorsport is returning to the British GT Championship’s GT3 field for the 2026 season, contesting the Silver-Am category with Jonathon Beeson and Charles Clarke.
In addition to its ‘Chomp’-liveried #24 BMW M4 GT4 Evo, Century will enter the #44 BMW M4 GT3 Evo.
This is a significant change for the team behind Dan Harper and Darren Leung’s overall and Pro-Am championship wins in 2023, which spent last season competing solely in the British GT4 ranks with two cars. The team’s GT3 success in 2025 came elsewhere, with the team clinching the GT World Challenge Europe Silver Cup Endurance Drivers’ and Teams’ titles.
Team principal Nathan Freke said: “Returning to the British GT championship is very important to Century Motorsport, but also for BMW.
“Having won the British GT3 Championship in 2023 and our GT World Challenge success in 2025, we know what it takes to win. We have a great handle on the BMW M4 GT3 Evo and are excited to see what the season brings.
“Charles and Jonathon are both established winners in their own categories and will be a very strong pairing in the Silver-Am class, where we are hoping to achieve great success together.”
Beeson’s racing pursuits began in 2022, racing in the British Endurance Championship before guest appearances in TCR UK and Porsche Sprint Challenge GB.
After taking the 2025 Porsche Carrera Cup Am championship title, he is now setting foot into one of Europe’s most competitive GT racing grids.
“I’m really happy to be joining Century Motorsport in British GT this year and stepping up into GT3,” he said.
“After winning the Porsche Carrera Cup Am championship last season, it feels like a natural step and a great opportunity to keep building my confidence and experience.
“Nathan has put together a fantastic package for me, and having Charles alongside me is a big advantage; he’s a proven winner with a lot of experience. We’re really looking forward to getting started and working hard together.”
Clarke has taken victories in British GT and GT World Challenge, both promoted under SRO, having contested the 24 Hours of Spa and the GTWC Europe Endurance Cup last year with Paradine Competition, which runs BMW machinery.
He and Jack Brown shared the glory of winning the 2023 GT4 Silver Cup title. Clarke will compete against Brown in the GT3 Silver-Am category, who continues to represent Optimum Motorsport.
“A dream to be back on the British GT grid this year with Century Motorsport in the BMW M4 GT3 Evo, sharing the car with Jonathon Beeson in Silver-Am,” Clarke added.
“Jonathon’s seriously quick, and I’m looking forward to pushing for a successful season together. British GT is one of the toughest championships out there, racing at some of the best tracks in the world against top-level drivers.
“I can’t wait to get started at Media Day on March 31st.”
