Ferrari Fastest In Le Mans Warm-Up

Ferrari AF Corse finished the Warm-Up ahead of the 24 Hours of Le Mans at the top of the times, with its pair of factory 499Ps ending up 1-2.

Alessandro Pier Guidi set a 3:26.540 to go fastest aboard the #51 499P, with Miguel Molina 0.356 seconds behind in the #50 entry.

Sébastien Buemi was third aboard the #8 Toyota Racing TR010 Hybrid, ahead of the #36 Alpine Endurance Team A424, #19 Genesis Magma Racing GMR-001, and #7 Toyota.

In LMP2, a late time from Alex Quinn put the Pro/Am #4 CrowdStrike Racing by APR ORECA 07-Gibson quickest, with the Briton setting a 3:37.111.

This was just 0.009 seconds ahead of TDS Racing’s #14 ORECA of Mathias Beche, with Job van Uitert third in the #28 IDEC Sport ORECA.

And in LMGT3, TF Sport was 1-2 with its Corvette Z06 LMGT3.Rs. Jonny Edgar headed the way after setting a 3:54.825 aboard the #33 entry, with debutant Ben Green 0.129 seconds slower in the JMR-branded #2 machine.

Maxime Martin was third in the #61 Iron Lynx Mercedes-AMG LMGT3, ahead of the pair of Kessel Racing Ferrari 296 LMGT3 Evos, and the duo of Manthey Porsche 911 GT3 R (992.2) LMGT3s.

Thankfully, the 15-minute session ran without incident, and barrier repairs required after incidents in the morning support races have also been completed.

61 cars took to the circuit, with 49 of them setting a timed lap. The only entry not to run was the 13 Autosport Corvette.
