Duqueine Commits To ORECA For 2028

Duqueine Team has become the second outfit to formally commit to a chassis partner for the next generation of LMP2 regulations, which are set to run from 2028 to 2032.

The French squad has confirmed that it has placed an order for a pair of ORECA 09, continuing its relationship with the French constructor, with whom it has raced since making the step up to LMP2 in 2018.

Duqueine therefore joins United Autosports as a declared ORECA customer for the next set of regulations, with both ORECA and Ligier are permitted to build chassis

Duqueine has undergone a significant off-season overhaul with R-ace GP now operating the team, and currently competes in the European Le Mans Series and at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. It has also previously contested the Asian Le Mans Series.

“We are very confident and very happy to have given an order of two cars,” said Gilles Duqueine, Duqueine Group president. “We are very impatient to be able to test them; we are waiting for the end of 2027 with great impatience.”
