IMSA eagerly awaits the first entry into the VP Racing SportsCar Challenge’s new BMW M2 Racing category, positioned as a potential first step in the career of any aspiring sports car racer.
So it made sense that at Watkins Glen, BMW M factory racing legend Bill Auberlen and BMW brand ambassador Samantha Tan spoke with IMSA about the car in an original video on the series’ official YouTube channel – joined by BMW North America’s Customer Racing Manager, Adam McGregor. The M2 Racing will feature as part of the revamped VP Challenge series in 2027.
