This weekend sees the 2026 BRDC Classic take place at Silverstone, with over 300 entries set to compete across 21 races.
The re-launched event is headlined by nine Motor Racing Legends grids, including GT3 Legends, Endurance Icons (for 2000s sportscars), and Pre-’66 GT Sprint, which has attracted 50 competitors.
Thanks to the presence of the Pre-War Sportscars, a century of racing history will take to the circuit, with the likes of the Historic Touring Car Challenge and GP Icons presented by Goodyear bringing some touring car and single-seater representation alongside the strong sportscar presence.
2-Litre Sportscars, HRDC ‘Top Hat’ for pre-1966 touring cars and the Stirling Moss Trophy and RAC Woodcote Trophy for 1950s sportscars complete the MRL contingent, with guest grids from the FJHRA ‘Silverline’ Championship, HSCC Derek Bell Trophy and HSCC Historic Road Sports Championship.
Track action will take place from 24th to 26th July, with commentary from Martin Haven, Bruce Jones and Graham Goodwin.
