Creventic has confirmed that the 992.2-spec Porsche 911 GT3 Cup will be eligible to contest its 992 Endurance Cup events from 2027 onwards.
The 992 Endurance Cup, a 12-hour race at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, will therefore remain exclusively for 992.1-spec cars this year, as is the case with the 992 class in Creventic’s 24H Series.
This is due to the fact that not all teams have had the opportunity to upgrade to the 992.2, which was introduced this year in select Porsche one-make championships such as the Supercup and Carrera Cup Deutschland.
“We are genuinely excited about the arrival of the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup 992.2, and we look forward to officially integrating it into the 2027 edition,” said event coordinator David Vink.
“For now, our full focus is on delivering another great race at Spa-Francorchamps this September, and we cannot wait to welcome all teams to what promises to be a fantastic third edition.”
The third edition the 992 Endurance Cup will be held later this year on 5th September 2026.
