A last-minute call-up will see Robert Wickens rejoin the #36 DXDT Corvette crew for this weekend’s IMSA enduro at Road America.
The Canadian racer will join Charlie Eastwood and Mason Filipi in the GTD class entry after regular enduro Silver Salih Yoluc was forced to withdraw due to a famiy emergency.
The call-up sees Wickens start his third IMSA race of 2026 after prior outings at Long Beach and CTMP.
It will be Robert’s first IMSA enduro start since the Rolex 24 in 2017 when he drove a Starworks entered LMPC class Oreca, this the year before he suffered spinal injuries in an Indycar accident at Pocono that left him with injuries thsat require him to use hand controls.
