I.S.R has confirmed that Nicolas Lapierre will drive for the team in its #74 Audi R8 LMS at the Spa 24 Hours with Philippe Giauque, Henry Hassid and Franck Perera.
“We are very pleased to welcome a great professional driver like Nicolas to our team: his experience, speed and talent will be very important in a very challenging race like the 24 Hours of Spa.” said I.S.R team principal Igor Salaquarda.
“His CV does not need any introduction and the victory he scored in Le Mans just confirms his value in endurance races. The whole team is thrilled about working with him and I believe that he, Philippe, Henry and Franck will be one of the most interesting PRO-Am lineups.”
The Frenchman tested with the team at the Spa 24 Hours Test Day last week, but wasn’t a fully confirmed driver for the race.
Lapierre is fresh from competing in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, where he secured his second win in a row in LMP2 driving for Signatech Alpine.
