Norma Auto Concept has announced that it plans to actively exploit the North American market for their newly announced Norma M30 LMP3.
The opportunity arises for Norma to re-enter the marketplace in the USA with the advent in 2017 of the ‘IMSA Prototype Challenge presented by Mazda’, the new series effectively replacing IMSA Lites with full LMP3 spec machinery.
The Norma M30 has been developed by the design team at Norma and the Italian engineering team at Tatuus.
TDS Racing Team have already announced an Asian Le Mans Series and ELMS programme with the Norma M30, the team allocated the first of a planned initial 10 car production run with another of the 10 expected to arrive on American shores well before the end of the year.
Norma intend to be present at all IMSA Prototype Challenge events, providing partner teams with individual assistance and support.
