The latest announcement in a string of responses to the escalating global effort to contain the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus came at midday EDT today, as IMSA announced that it has postponed the 2020 running of the 12 Hours of Sebring.
This follows the FIA WEC’s decision overnight to cancel its race in Sebring, which was due to be run as part of a ‘Super Sebring’ double-header.
The IMSA Statement reads:
