Racing Team India Eurasia Reveal 2021 Le Mans Livery

For #74 Ligier

Here are the racing colours for the 2021 Le Mans 24 Hours for the #74 Racing Team India Eurasia Motorsport fielded Ligier JSP217 which will contest the LMP2 Pro-Am class with the only non-Oreca chassis car in the field.

James Winslow, John Corbett and Tom Cloet will form the driving squad after the initial plans for the entry fell foul of travel restrictions and significant commercial difficulties for the Indian backers of the proposed initial effort, the team are though still carrying the Indian national colours.

The 2021 race will see the Philippines-based team contest the 24 Hours for the fifth time in six years, entries coming their way with loyalty to the Asian Le Mans Series, and a season in the ELMS.

The team have ‘gone the distance’ three times with their only stumble coming in 2018 when the car was not classified having failed to complete the final lap (pictured below), but otherwise would have posted a respectable finish.

Eurasia’s high water mark at Le Mans thus far came in 2016 when their Oreca 05 came home a fine 9th overall, 5th in LMP2.

The start of the Gibson-powered formula the following year saw the team switch to Ligier coming home 15th overall (13th in class) before the non-classification in 2018.

The team were not selected in 2019 but returned last year to get another top 20 finish, 18th overall and 14th in LMP2.
