Performance Tech Motorsports will field Dan Goldburg, Hikaru Abe, Nico Pino, and Garett Grist in their #38 Ligier JSP320 for the 2022 Rolex 24 at Daytona.
Goldburg returns with the team after contesting the season after Daytona with Performance Tech last year, and the IMSA Prototype Challenge the previous season with Abe, Pino, and Grist joining the team for the first time.
Team Principal Brent O’Neill: “This is a really great group of guys,” O’Neill said. “This team knows what it takes to win a Rolex 24 and with such strong drivers, I think we have a really strong shot at a run for the top step this year. We’ve tested all of these drivers and I’m really impressed by what they bring to the table, I’m eager to get them all together for the Roar to see what we can get out of our Ligier.”
Drivers Goldburg and Grist both have race experience in LMP3 machinery at Daytona whilst Pino raced at Spa and Portimao in the ELMS this year as part of the Inter-Europol LMP3 squad. The race will be Abe’s LMP3 debut.
