AF Corse will continue in the LMP2 Pro-Am category of the ELMS in 2023 with a single ORECA 07 Gibson for reigning WEC class Champion Francois Perrodo, ex-Alpine Hypercar racer Matthieu Vaxiviere and current Lexus IMSA GTD factory driver Ben Barnicoat.
The trio will share the #83 car for the full season and will look to take the entry one better than its 2022 runner-up spot in the ELMS.
Perrodo was, of course part of that squad and is joined by long-time friend Vaxiviere, himself a Championship runner-up in 2022, in the FIA WEC HyperCar class.
Barnicoat meanwhile brings winning form to the effort with 2022 victory in the the Gulf 12hrs, Asian Le Mans series, and Petit Le Mans as well as runner-up status in the GTD Pro class of IMSA’s WetherTech Sportscar Championship.
