Last month saw some significant resurfacing work at Le Mans with the public road section from Mulsanne Corner to Arnage (sections of the RD140 and RD139) given a new top surface for the first time since 2005.

Public documents confirm that the work totalled 1800 tons of bitumen poured over a distance of 1.9km at a cost of 260,000 Euros, the works organised by the Syndicat Mixte des 24 Heures du Mans, “the public organisation in charge of managing large investments for the Circuit de la Sarthe” .
