A 43-car provisional entry list for the ELMS 4 Hours of Imola next weekend has been released today.
There are only a few changes to report for the third round of the 2024 season, with the most notable tweaks coming in LMP2.
With Ritomo Miyata set to compete at Silverstone in Formula 2 with Rodin Motorsport, the Japanese racer has been replaced by Alpine Hypercar driver Paul Loup Chatin in COOL Racing’s #37 ORECA.
Chatin, who formed part of the sister #47 car’s line-up before Le Mans, will share the car with 4H Barcelona winners Lorenzo Fluxa and Malthe Jakobsen.
Therefore, this move means COOL Racing’s #47 ORECA has undergone a driver line-up change too.
Ferdinand Habsburg, who was injured in testing with Alpine and was replaced by Chatin for the opening rounds of the season, will make his first start of the 2024 campaign.
He will compete alongside Isotta Fraschini driver Carl Bennett (a new signing for COOL) and full-season driver Frederik Vesti.
Alex Garcia meanwhile, will not compete in Imola aboard the #47 after taking part in the races at Barcelona and Paul Ricard with Chatin and Vesti.
Elsewhere the only other driver change comes in LMP3. Alexandre Yvon returns to Ultimate to drive in the French team’s third seat alongside Jean-Baptiste Lahaye and Matthieu Lahaye.
Eric Trouillet took the start in Ultimate’s #35 Ligier at Le Castellet, after Yvon formed part of the team’s line-up in Spain.
