Greystone GT Confirm First 2026 GT Open Line-Up

McLaren outfit Greystone GT has confirmed its first driver line-up for next year’s International GT Open.

Zak Meakin and Dean Macdonald will race for the British team, competing in the Pro class aboard a GT3 Evo.

Greystone GT first contested the International GT Open in 2022, scoring its maiden victory at the 2024 Monza 500KM with Macdonald and James Kell. Macdonald and Kell added two further wins this year, on their way to sixth in the drivers’ championship.

Meakin made his first start with Greystone at this year’s GT World Challenge Europe finale at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. The Briton joins the team after competing with rival McLaren squad Optimum Motorsport in GT Open this year, where he scored three podium finishes alongside Michael Porter.

This is the first confirmed 2026 race programme for McLaren factory driver Macdonald, who also raced in GT World Challenge Europe with Garage 59 this season, and recently tested for RLL Team McLaren at the IMSA Sanctioned Test.

The 2026 International GT Open season begins at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, Portugal, on 19th April 2026.
