Bachler to race Abu Dhabi Porsche at Silverstone
Klaus Bachler will again grace the cockpit of the Abu Dhabi Proton Racing #77 Porsche 911 RSR for Silverstone’s opening round of the FIA World Endurance Championship.
The Austrian racer replaces Pat Long who has a clashing commitment in the Pirelli World Challenge at Long Beach next weekend.
WEC announce fan entertainment plans for Silverstone
Aside from the on-track action the FIA WEC once again will provide plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy throughout the weekend at Silverstone for the opening round of the championship.
Kids will be able to enjoy a climbing wall, quad biking, roller skating, moto rodeo machine and soft play area. And for the whole family to enjoy together there will be racing simulators, a parkour wall, mobile zip-line and an opportunity to meet the drivers amongst other things.
Strakka Racing will also have a full-size cardboard cutout of its Gibson in the pits and at the popbangcolour stand for fans to take pictures with. The fan with the best picture will win a prize too!
