Merry Christmas

From all at DSC

I’m taking a couple of minutes away from the relaxed but excited process of Christmas morning with my family to wish a very happy Christmas to our other family, everyone that contributes, as a writer, photographer, PR, and indeed as readers for the longest lived endurance-racing focused website in the world.

It has been a tough couple of years for all of us, but through all that has gone before, the good humour and humanity of our community has helped this writer to dig deep and push through.

Racing is fuelled by passion, and whether it’s through our interactions on social media, or in the, admittedly rather more limited of late, direct contact with those in the sport itself, it’s that passion that prevails when times are difficult. That’s been shown once again this year with a huge number of readers following not only the everyday cut and thrust of racing but also the developments towards one of the most exciting prospective eras in the sport’s history.

It’s a source of pride and pleasure that almost 20 years after Malcolm Cracknell, John Brooks and myself pushed the ‘Start’ button for Dailysportscar it is still the market leader across the world in our corner of the sport.

So thanks from David Lord and myself to all those who joined us in 2021 to keep the content coming, there’s plenty more where that came from!

But for today, and let’s hope for a few more days too, there’s time to pause, and to wish all of you a peaceful and happy time,
Merry Christmas
