Nigel Bailly will race in GT World Challenge Europe in a CMR – Classic & Modern Racing Bentley Continental GT3.
The Belgian racer, part of the Frederic Sausset Academy, who lost the use of his legs after a motorcycle accident, raced at the Le Mans 24 Hours in 2021 in the SRT41 Oreca 07 Gibson as the ‘Innovative Car’ entry.
“After the 24 Hours of Le Mans, I have set myself a new challenge: to participate in the world’s most popular GT championship: the GT World Challenge Europe.
“Serious things already took place during my transition last December to meet Team CMR and the sublime Bentley GT3!
“Testing is scheduled by mid-February. I’m excited about putting my ass in the basket and pressing the “Start” button!
