Koiranen Kemppi Motorsport Confirm Duqueine Entry

Koiranen Kemppi Motorsport are the latest team to confirm a full season entry in the new for 2022 Prototype Cup Germany.

The Finnish team will field a Duqueine D08, the first Scandinavian entry for the Series.

Koiranen Kemppi Motorsport has been active in motorsports for over 25 years, following in the footsteps of Koiranen GP.

They will try to convert years of experience in formula racing to the next step in prototype racing.

Marko Koiranen has been team principal of many promising young talents such as Valtteri Bottas, Carlos Sainz and Esteban Ocon.

The full Scandinavian lineup will consist of Sebastian Arenram and Jesse Salmenautio. Sebastian has been competing in several national Championships such as the Swedisch Ginetta GT5 Challenge and the V8 Thunder Cars. In 2020 he became 3rd in the overall standings in a lateral of those series.

Jesse is a promising youngster with over 100 races under his belt. He made a name for himself in Formula 4 racing in Germany and Italy. Earlier this year he drove his first races in the Duqueine D08 for Koiranen Kemppi Motorsport in the Asian LMS, the late season outings in Abu Dhabi seeing the youngster putting in very impressive lap times.

The confirmed entry from the Finnish team sees announced LMP3 entries now into double figures with Ginetta from Konrad and Gebhardt, Ligiers from Inter Europol, Speed factory, Reiter and Toksport WRT, and Duqueine’s from Koiranen Kemppi, Racing Experience, WTM rRacing and Muehlner Motorsport all declared.
