Iron Lynx has confirmed its GTE campaign in the 2023 FIA World Endurance Championship in collaboration with Proton Competition, finally confirming the story run by DSC in October of 2022.
Claudio Schiavoni will race the Iron Lynx #60 Porsche 911 RSR-19 in the LMGTE Am category, alongside two other drivers who will be confirmed in the near future.
The Iron Dames will continue with its 24 Hours of Le Mans all-female line-up from last year, with Sarah Bovy, Michelle Gatting, and Rahel Frey aboard the #85 car.
Iron Lynx Team Principal, Andrea Piccini, said: “We are extremely happy to take part once again in the FIA WEC this season. It will be a tremendous honour to see both the Iron Lynx and Iron Dames’ colours in the iconic 100th anniversary of one of the most prestigious races in the endurance world, the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
“Following the recent announcement of our exciting next chapter with Lamborghini in GT and LMDh, choosing Porsche for our GTE campaign felt like a natural extension and fits well into the global picture.”
The switch to Porsche from Ferrari comes in the wake of the team transitioning to Lamborghini, the team already active with the brand in GT3 and set to begin the test and development phase of the LMDH/ HyperCar/ GTP programme later this year.
The team tested with the Proton Porsches immediately following the Portimao ELMS season finale (a race won by the Iron Dames in the GTE category), and have tested again since then ahead of the 2023 season.

DSC expects a third Proton Competition car, a single ELMS entry, to be confirmed for Claudio Schiavoni, the Iron Dames are understood not to be returning to ELMS in 2023.
