Emil Frey Racing has confirmed a future commitment with the Ferrari 296 GT3, after four successful years with the Lamborghini Huracán GT3.
The team’s seasons with Lamborghini saw victory in the overall International GT Open championship in 2019 with the story completed with the team championship in ADAC GT Masters in 2022 and encompassing class Championships in GT World Challenge Europe too.

Emil Frey Racing is looking forward to a new challenge with Ferrari. The team will use the short time until the start of 2023 season to familiarize itself with the new vehicle.
Lorenz Frey-Hilti, Team Principal: “From October 2022, we as the Emil Frey Group have been authorized to represent the Ferrari brand in Munich (Emil Frey are a significant player in automotive retailing). We are pleased to be able to work together with Ferrari in racing as well. We have little time left before the start of the season. However, with the brand-new Ferrari 296 GT3 and our long experience in GT3 we are confident to be well prepared until our first race.”
No details have yet been released over the team’s proposed 2023 race programmes with the 296 GT3.
