Hoy teams up with Brundle
Decorated Olympic cyclist Sir Chris Hoy will compete with Alex Brundle at the Silverstone Festival in late August. The duo will share a Ford Mustang in the Adrian Flux Trophy for Transatlantic Pre ’66 Touring Cars.

Kurtz and Iribe odds on for auto Le Mans invites
With three races remaining in the current IMSA season, it’s a good time to take a look at which drivers are edging closer to securing Le Mans invites via the Trueman and Akin awards.
George Kurtz, the founder of Crowdstrike, currently leads the standings for the Trueman Award, which goes to the top finisher in points among Bronze-rated drivers in the Le Mans Prototype 2 (LMP2) class of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.
Meanwhile, Brendan Iribe is pursuing the Bob Akin Award, which goes to the highest points finisher among Bronze drivers in GTD.
With three LMP2 races and four GTD races remaining in the WeatherTech Championship season, Kurtz has a 90-point lead over Ben Keating in the Trueman standings. Iribe leads Alan Brynjolfsson by 130 points in the battle for the Akin Award.
Kurtz and Iribe will continue their battle for Le Mans invites next week with the IMSA SportsCar Weekend at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.
1967 Ferrari 412P up for auction
A 1967 Ferrari 412P owned by current FIA WEC Hypercar team owner Jim Glickenhaus is up for auction with Bonhams.
This Ferrari – chassis serial ‘0854’ – was delivered to Ronnie Hoare’s Maranello Concessionaries team in the spring of 1967, where it was liveried with a light Cambridge Blue stripe and tail over the Rosso Corsa body.
During its racing career it racked up many standout results and was driven by an array of significant drivers. This included a third place finish at the 167 Spa 1000kms (driven by Richard Attwood and Lucien Bianchi) and seventh at Brands Hatch, helping Ferrari win the 1967 World Sports Car Manufacturer’s Championship. In 1968 it also won the 1968 Nuremberg 200km.
New Toyota GT3 out testing?
Toyota’s new GT3 car appears to have been captured on film while testing. Twitter user @guaguuu4616 has some footage:

The car, which is set to replace the Lexus RCF GT3, is not expected to be ready to race until at least 2025.
