Garth Tander to race Grove Porsche at The Bend

Grove Racing has revealed that five-time Bathurst 1000 winner Garth Tander will participate in Round 4 of the Porsche Paynter Dixon Carrera Cup Championship at Tailem Bend on August 18th to 20th.

Tander will sport #87, the same number being used by his son Sebastian in the SP Tools Australian Karting Championship with the Grove Junior Team and TanderSport.

This deal is for a one-off race weekend, in which Earl Bamber Motorsport will prepare his 911 GT3 Cup Car for the Grove Racing team. It is being used as preparation for his co-driving duties in the Supercars endurance rounds at Sandown and Bathurst with Grove.
