Brown to race in Monterey

United Autosports co-owner and McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown is set to compete in Monterey Car Week this weekend.

He will race three cars from his collection – an iconic McLaren also known as the “Batmobile”, Mario Andretti’s multi-race winning Lola, and a Formula 1 world-championship winning Williams – with the historic racing department at United Autosports on hand to prep the cars.

“Monterey is mega,” says Zak. “I always have a great time at Car Week, which is why we’re back again for 2023. This will be my ninth year racing in the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion, with an awesome line-up of cars in the 1970 McLaren M8D, 1974 Lola T332 and 1980 Williams FW07B.”

The on-track action starts at Laguna Seca this weekend with the Monterey Pre-Reunion (12-13th August), followed by the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion next week which culminates on Saturday 19th August.
