When word got out that Ryan Eversley would not be retained by Honda as a factory driver after the 2023 season, many wondered what the next move would be for one of sportscar racing’s most popular working drivers.
Today it was confirmed that Eversley has been hired by Precision Racing L.A. in multiple capacities. Eversley will drive full-time in the 2024 Pirelli GT4 America series in the team’s new Toyota GR Supra GT4, as the team steps up the SRO Motorsports America ladder following a successful first season in the Toyota Gazoo Racing GR Cup North America.
In addition, Eversley has also been appointed as the head of driver and racing business development for Precision Racing L.A. – and its sister team which will be more familiar to fans of IMSA, L.A. Honda World Racing.
“My passion for racing started as a kid. I always wanted to follow in my father’s footsteps in racing and spent as much time at the racetrack with him as I could. That passion, fueled by hard work, dedication, and an incredible racing community has been the driving force of my career for two decades. To now have the opportunity to coach and mentor, as well as race, for an organization I deeply respect is surreal. I’m grateful for every experience that has led me here,” said Eversley.
Eversley drove under the L.A. Honda World banner in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge series for three of the last four seasons, while also coaching young talents rising through the ranks in the SRO America paddock.

His years of racing experience, immense energy, and commitment to support both individual and team success will undoubtedly contribute to our organization’s growth. Having the opportunity to bring Ryan on full-time will make all those who race with us exceptional racers,” said Mario Biundo, owner of L.A. Honda World Racing and Precision Racing L.A.
The 20-year veteran driver “will play a pivotal role in recruiting, guiding, growing, and mentoring both Precision Racing L.A. and L.A. Honda World Touring Car drivers, and the operations for each team,” as outlined by the company in today’s press release.
Eversley’s on-track resume is highlighted by multiple Michelin Pilot Challenge series victories, class podiums at the Daytona 24 Hours and Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta, and a 2018 series championship in the Pirelli World Challenge TCR Class – the forerunner to the current TC America series. He is also well-known as the co-host of the motorsports podcast and video streaming series, Dinner With Racers.
Eversley will make his Toyota customer racing debut at Sonoma Raceway on the weekend of 5-7 April during the opening round of the GT4 America series.
