Hypercar and GTP racer Will Stevens will replace Ferdinand Habsburg in the #24 Nielsen Racing Oreca for round 3 of the 2023/2024 Asian Le Mans Series at Dubai Autodrome on 4 February.
Stevens will join Ian Loggie and Alejandro Garcia in one of a pair of Nielsen racing Orecas entered for the UAE races.
Habsburg will miss the Dubai race due to a clash with a commitment for his 2024 Alpine Hypercar programme. but will return to complete the season with the double-header of 4 hour races at Yas Marina circuit the following week on 10 & 11 February.
Nielsen’s second car will make its debut in the UAE rounds, piloted by Matt Bell, Patrick Liddy and Blake McDonald.
