Nielsen Racing Confirm LMP2 Pro-Am Line Up For 2024 ELMS

Nielsen Racing has confirmed that Albert Costa is set to join John Falb and Colin Noble in the team’s #24 LMP2 Pro-Am Oreca 07 Gibson for the 2024 European Le Mans Series.

Ex Lamborghini factory driver Costa finished the 2023 WEC season as the runner up in the LMP2 Driver standings with Inter Europol.

He’ll team up with four-times LMP3 champion Colin Noble, who returns to Nielsen Racing for his LMP2 debut.

John Falb meanwhile, also an LMP3 Champion, returns to the ELMS for a sixth season in LMP2.

Nielsen Racing’s LMP2 (Pro) entry already has Will Stevens and Nico Pino confirmed with a third driver announcement due shortly.

Albert Costa: “I am super excited, super happy to join the Nielsen Racing team for the European Le Mans Series. They are a very good and strong team. I’m looking forward to the year, with two strong teammates in a very experienced John Falb and Colin Noble. I think, after winning Le Mans and being second in the World Endurance Championship, the expectations are high and I will give my best to fight for podiums and wins and give the best result to the team

Colin Noble: “I’m really looking forward to the opportunity that Nielsen Racing is giving me. Returning to the European Le Mans Series with them in LMP2 for my first season in the category. I think we have a really strong lineup put together by Sven and Nielsen with John and Albert as my teammates in the ProAm category. Overall, I think it’s a great opportunity and I’m hopeful we can all some results for Nielsen”
