43 Cars On 4H Spa Entry

A handful of driver changes confirmed for Round 4 of the 2024 season

The entry list for next weekend’s ELMS 4 Hours of Spa has been revealed this morning. It contains the same 43 cars that have taken part in every race this season, with a handful of driver changes from the last weekend at Imola.

In the LMP2 ranks, Ritomo Miyata returns to COOL Racing’s #37 ORECA after missing the race at Imola. He was replaced by Alpine Hypercar driver Paul Loup Chatin in Italy.

This race will be the first that Chatin has missed after he previously subbed for fellow Alpine racer Ferdinand Habsburg at Barcelona and Paul Ricard while he recovered from injuries sustained in testing.

Pro/Am meanwhile, sees the two driver changes expected confirmed. IMSA GTP drivers Filipe Albuquerque and Nick Yelloly will drive the #21 United and #24 Nielsen Racing ORECAs respectively, filling in for Oliver Jarvis and Albert Costa.

There are two empty spaces next to Tony Wells in the #19 Virage ORECA. While not confirmed publically by the team, Endurance Info has reported that Tristan Vautier and Wayne Boyd will race with the Polish-flagged outfit in Belgium.

LMP3 sees Louis Rossi become the latest driver to take a seat in Ultimate’s third chair alongside Jean-Baptiste and Matthieu Lahaye.

LMGT3’s 11-car field is identical, with no driver changes.

The 2024 ELMS 4 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps is set to get underway at 11:30 local time on Sunday, August 25th.
