In total, 52 different cars appeared on track during the session.
Lionspeed GP’s #80 Porsche 911 GT3.R (992) completed the most laps, 78. This was one more than Team WRT’s #30 BMW M4 GT3 Evo managed.
The track was wet for the majority of the four-hour session, with lap times only falling below the 2:05 mark during the final hour. Further rain late on saw many teams bring their session to a premature end.
The session was interrupted by multiple brief stoppages, as the #22 Schumacher CLRT Porsche, #14 Emil Frey Racing Ferrari and #51 AF Corse – Francorchamps Motors Ferrari all stopped on track at different points.
Of them, only the Porsche returned to the circuit before the end of the session.

With a 2:00.222, Boutsen VDS’ #9 Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo was second fastest, ahead of the Gold Cup-leading #33 Verstappen.Com Racing Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 Evo.

After stopping on track during the morning session, AF Corse-Francorchamps Motors’ #51 Ferrari didn’t enter the fray until the final hour. The other 296 GT3 to run into issues in the morning, the #14 Emil Frey Racing entry, returned to the track early in the afternoon.
Running at the Prologue continues tomorrow, with a further nine hours of track time split across two sessions.
