Pure Rxcing has revealed its driver line-up for the 2025 GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup, as the team enters its second season in the Pro class.
Team regular Alex Malykhin is returning to the #911 Porsche 911 GT3.R (992), with Porsche factory drivers Richard Lietz and Thomas Preining joining him.
Defending FIA WEC LMGT3 champion Malykhin will combine this programme with an assault on the LMP2 class in the European Le Mans Series in partnership with CLX Motorsport.
Five time 24 hours of Le Mans class winner Lietz, remarkably, has never contested a full season in GT World Challenge Europe before. The Austrian has, however, made the occasional one-off appearance at the 24 Hours of Spa, headlined by an overall victory in 2019 with GPX Racing.
2023 DTM champion Preining previously competed in the championship in 2020 and 2023. He has a best finish of third, at the 2023 Barcelona season finale.
Pure Rxcing, who won the combined Bronze Cup title across the Sprint and Endurance Cups in 2023, stepped up to the Pro class last season with an unchanged driver line-up of Malykhin, Klaus Bachler and Joel Stürm. The team took a best finish of eighth at Paul Ricard and Monza.
The 2025 GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup begins at Circuit Paul Ricard on 11-13 April. The same venue is currently playing host to the two-day Prologue.
