Manthey’s #90 Porsche 911 LMGT3.R 992 is set to compete in Chip Hart Racing colours at the Le Mans 24 Hours this year as part of the promotional campaign for the forthcoming F1 movie.
The #90, which serves as the team’s third car in the race alongside the full-season WEC entries, features a near-identical design to Wright Motorsports’ Porsches that appeared during a shoot at the Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona in 2024 and participated in the race (see below).
Chip Hart Racing is a fictional team, which character Sonny Hayes (played by Brad Pitt) drives for in the film, due for release in cinemas later this month.
The #90 will be driven by Antares Au, Klaus Bachler and Loek Hartog at Le Mans, after Au and Bachler helped Manthey secure an invitation by clinching the Asian Le Mans Series GT title over the winter.
In addition to the livery, Chip Hart Racing branding will also feature in the team’s garage at La Sarthe.
This is the second significant livery update from Manthey for Le Mans, after a special design for the Iron Dames 911 was revealed earlier this week.
