Maxi Götz in the #9 Boutsen VDS Mercedes AMG GT3 set a fastest time of 2:17.134s to pace the Free Practice session ahead of Thursday’s Pre-Qualifying and Qualifying for the Spa 24 Hours.
The fastest Gold and Bronze Cup cars, the #58 Garage 59 McLaren and #12 Rinaldi Racing Ferrari, were respectively second and third fastest overall.
Quickest Silver Cup runner was the #99 Tresor Attempto Racing Ferrari, fourth overall, while the Spa-only Pro-Am class was topped for this session by the #11 AF Corse Ferrari in 11th overall.
Moderate rainfall over the circuit intensified as the 90 minutes of free-practice running concluded, making the session of limited usefulness for race preparation, as the coming weekend is currently forecast to be hot and dry throughout.
Pre-Qualifying and Qualifying go green at 5:40 pm and 9:15 pm local time, respectively, this evening.
