GT World Challenge Europe outfit Paradine Competition will expand into the Ginetta Junior Championship for 2026, with a two-car entry.
The British squad will run Vicky Farfus and Samuel del Gaudio in the eight-round series, as both drivers make their first steps into car racing.
Iron Dames-backed Farfus, the daughter of BMW M factory driver Augusto, made history last year as the first female driver to finish in the top five of the FIA Karting World Cup final.
“I’m really excited about the opportunity to compete in the Ginetta Junior Championship. It’s a big step for me, and I’m fully focused on learning, improving, and giving my best every time I’m on track,” Farfus said.
“I would like to thank everyone who supports me and makes this new step possible. Representing Iron Dames is a source of great pride and a constant motivation to push harder every day driven by my passion for motorsport and the dream of a career I’ve always believed in.”
Del Guadio, meanwhile, enters Ginetta Juniors following time spent competing in karting in Italy, and testing Formula 4 machinery.
“I’m really happy to start this new adventure in the Ginetta Junior Championship with Paradine Competition,” the Italian commented. “I can’t wait to get on track, improve race after race, and give it my all. I hope to feel comfortable with the team and fight for the championship!”
An entry into the Ginetta competition is a full-circle moment for Paradine’s team owner, Darren Leung. The Briton made his racing debut in the Ginetta GT Academy in 2021, before his rapid rise through the GT ranks.
The 2026 Ginetta Junior Championship begins at Donington Park on 11th to 12th April 2026, with 29 drivers already confirmed for the championship’s first season being operated by SRO Motorsports Group.
