A huge 161-car entry list for the 2026 ADAC Ravenol 24h Nürburgring has been published ahead of the event next month.
It’s the largest field for the German endurance classic since 2014, when the race took place with 165, made possible by a decision taken to relax the cap on entries, which has recently limited the event to 150 cars.
This, according to the event organisers, has been made possible “because many racing teams are limiting their space requirements, thereby making room for their competitors and colleagues.”
At the head of the field, there are 41 SP9-entered GT3 cars, 27 of which are entered for IGTC points. All eyes will of course be on F1 superstar Max Verstappen, as he takes on the race for the first time in a Mercedes-AMG entered under the Verstappen Racing banner alongside Lucas Auer, Jules Gounon and Daniel Juncadella.
That is one of six AMG GT3s in the race, and four in SP9 PRO, where Verstappen’s outfit is joined by crews from PROsport Racing, KCMG and Team Ravenol.
But AMG’s attack is far from the only storyline in the top class field, which features nine GT3 manufacturers. In addition to Mercedes-AMG, Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, Ferrari, Ford, Porsche, Lamborghini and McLaren are all represented.
Amongst the heavy hitters, ROWE Racing is back to defend its 2025 win with two BMW M4 GT3s stacked with factory talent. Schubert also represents the German manufacturer.
Porsche, meanwhile, has 12 cars in the SP9 PRO, PRO-AM and AM fight, including PRO entries from Falken Motorsport, Dunlop Motorsport, Lionspeed GP, Dinamic GT and Manthey.
There’s also SP9 PRO cars from Dörr Motorsport (McLaren), Konrad Motorsport (Lamborghini), Scherer Sport PHX (Audi), Walkenhorst Motorsport (Aston Martin), Kondo Racing (Ferrari) and HRT (Ford) worth keeping an eye on.
Elsewhere, there are other notable entries that will attract attention, including the extraordinary factory-entered BMW M3 Touring 24H in SP-X PRO, which will compete against three examples of HWA’s restomod Evo R and a Reiter Engineering KTM X-Bow GTX.
A whopping 32 GT4 cars are also on the list, a McLaren Artura Trophy Evo will fly solo in SP 8T, and the Ollis Garage Dacia Logan is back.

The 2026 Nürburgring 24 Hours will take place from May 14th to 17th.
