Five Hours Of English-Language Coverage For 2022 Fuji Super TEC 24H

The Super Taikyu Series has regularly offered Japanese-language coverage of its races live and free on their official YouTube channel. This year, portions of Super Taikyu’s biggest race of the season, the Fuji Super TEC 24 Hour Race, will be broadcast in English.

Fuji Speedway’s official YouTube channel will stream over five hours of coverage of the Fuji 24H, beginning from the start of the race on Saturday 4 June, and through the first two hours and 30 minutes of the race. Part two, on Sunday 5 June, will resume from the final 2h 30m, all the way through to the chequered flag. And, all of it will be live and free to watch around the world!

A fascinating 56-car entry list has already been announced, with GT3 and GT4 sports cars, JDM production sports cars, and innovative concept vehicles which will trial future technology for the automotive and racing world. Many top drivers from the SUPER GT Series and Super Formula Championship will participate, along with automotive figures such as Toyota president Akio “Morizo” Toyoda and even WRC legend Jari-Matti Latvala.

English Broadcast Part 2: Race Finish, Sunday 3:30~6:10 UTC / 12:30~15:10 JST

Live Timing and Scoring will be available for the race and during qualifying on Friday, 3 June, beginning at 3:00 UTC / 12:00 JST.

Along with these blocks of English-language coverage, Super Taikyu will have all 24 hours of the race (with Japanese commentary) on their channel divided into five parts, and local broadcaster J Sports will also carry their own blocks of programming from the first and last hours of the race.
