The 2022 Le Mans 24 Hours saw an announcement by the President of the ACO, Pierre Fillon, that the centenary race next year would see the presentation of a specially commissioned Centenary Trophy.
The Centenary Trophy was revealed yesterday at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elégance ahead of a pre-Le Mans tour of a number of globally significant events.
The trophy has been designed in conjunction with and produced by, Monnaie de Paris, the Paris Mint, with support from long-time event partners Rolex.
The trophy, which is made of bronze, stands more than one-and-a-half metres tall.
