Team Virage, Expanding Across The ELMS Package

Polish-flagged, but Valencia-based Team Virage have had a growing presence in the ELMS support paddock in recent seasons with the team one of a number to step up to LMP2 in the ELMS last year with an LMP2 Pro-Am effort built around Rob Hodes.

2023 will see further expansion with the Oreca effort back for a second season, Hodes already signed with two other drivers to be confirmed.

An ELMS presence in LMP3 is also possible though with the Series looking set to be heavily over-subscribed, pressure is coming to bear on the available places in the junior prototype category.

More certain is a likely two car Ligier presence in the LMP3 class of the Michelin Le Mans Cup with testing next week likely to move potential line-ups to secure their entries.

More impressive still is a significant expansion in the Ligier Endurance Series.

A stunning season from Gillian Henrion in a full season Ligier JS P4 saw the Frenchman claim the title missing out on a clean sweep of wins to misfortune at Spa. His and the team’s performance though has seen significant interest emerging and Virage will field no fewer than three full-season JSP4s in 2023.
