The Iron Dames will contest the 2024/2025 Asian Le Mans Series in a Proton Competition-run Porsche 911 GT3R.
The FIA WEC and ELMS regulars and race winners will take the pioneering all-female project tp the ACO’s Asian Championship for the first time as part of a capacity full-season field including 28 GT3 cars for races in December at Sepang International Circuit, Malaysia and in February at Dubai Autodrome and Yas Marina Circuit in the United Arab Emirates.
Michelle Gatting is the first driver confirmed aboard the Porsche with further announcements to follow about which of the current multi-Series roster of talented female drivers will join the rapid Dane.
The grid for the Series is now boosted to 45 cars with the addition of a second Manthey-run Porsche 911 GT3R.
The confirmation of the additional entry means the GT3 grid will consist of 28 cars, with six manufacturers represented – Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Mercedes and Porsche.
The overall full season grid is now a highly impressive 45 cars, 11 LMP2s, 6 LMP3s and 28 GTs.
