Karen Gaillard will be added to the Iron Dames line-up for the 2025 Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona joining Michelle Gatting, Rahel Frey and Sarah Bovy in the Proton Competition-run #85 Porsche 911 GT3R for the IMSA season opener.
The announcement marks Gaillard’s first confirmed promotion to the front-line Iron Dames roster after spending 2024 in the Michelin Le Mans Cup with Célia Martin.
23 year old Swiss racer Gaillard was on-site for the IMSA sanctioned test at Daytona earlier this month where Rahel Frey was on hand to coach her young team-mate in their 2024 ELMS Porsche, de-liveried on-site for the test.
The Rolex 24 line-up then now features Gatting as the sole Gold-ranked driver in the line-up alongside Frey, Gaillard and Bovy, all ranked Silver for 2025.
The confirmation of Bovy in the car sees her confirmed both for the Asian Le Mans Series (where her 2024 Bronze ranking still applies) as well as IMSA, though the Belgian is no longer part of the team’s WEC line-up where Célia Martin has moved in as the nominated Bronze-ranked driver.
