Reigning British GT Champion Rob Collard (pictured above right with son Ricky) will sit out the opening round at Donington Park on 5-6 April.
Due to an unforeseen medical procedure for Collard, Barwell Motorsport has confirmed Matt Topham to replace him for Round 1.
Topham, a double GT4 Pro-AM Champion, raced in a GT3 Aston Martin for Blackthorn in 2024.

Barwell’s #1 Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2 will be co-driven by Topham and Hugo Cook instead.
The team have won seven Teams’ titles and four Drivers’ titles in the British GT championship having finished 1-2 in last year’s Drivers’ championship.
Dailysportscar wishes a swift recovery for Robd ahead of his anticipated return at Round 2, the Silverstone 500, on 26-27 April.
