Mercedes AMG has revealed the liveries for its factory-backed AMG GT3 Evo entries for the 2024 Nürburgring 24 hours next weekend.
HRT (Haupt Racing Team) and GetSpeed Performance will each campaign a pair of factory-backed cars with HRT’s #3 and #4 cars with backing in 2024 by Bilstein.
The #3 for Michele Beretta, Frank Bird, Arjun Maini and Jusuf Owega features a classic yellow and blue Bilstein scheme.
The sister #4 car for Maximilian Goetz, Daniel Juncadella, Arjun Maini (on double duty), and Luca Stolz and has been liveried with an innovative Lumilor paint and electroluminescent lighting technology makes the Mercedes-AMG GT3 glow during the night.
The two GetSpeed cars both feature commemorative liveries with the #8 for Adam Christodoulou, Lucas Auer, Philip Ellis and Mikaël Grenier carrying the popular “Beast of the Green Hell” livery that debuted in 2023.
Christodoulou meanwhile will be looking to help AMG to win at the race for the first time since 2016, a race where he was part of the winning crew.
The sister #130 AMG carries a livery to celebrate the 130th anniversary of Mercedes-AMG in motorsport. The car will be shared by another f the 2016 winners Maro Engel together with Jules Gounon and Fabian Schiller.
There are three other high profile AMG entries featuring factory talent – a pair in SP9 Pro-Am with GT3 machinery and a car in SP10 with an AMG GT4.
The #6 Team ADVAN x HRT SP9 PRO-Am Mercedes-AMG GT3 is entered in collaboration with YOKOHAMA. Mercedes-AMG Junior Driver Ralf Aron will drive alongside Dennis Fetzer, Hubert Haupt and Salman Owega , the car sporting the colours of the Japanese tyre manufacturer.
Schnitzelalm Racing also field a car in SP9 PRO-Am. Their #11 entry for Jay Mo Härtling, Kenneth Heyer and Marcel Marchewicz, The car in the team’s regular green and black team livery.
The #111 SP10 entry from Schnitzelalm Racing sees a Mercedes-AMG GT4 with junior factory driver David Schumacher making his N24 debut. He issued joined by Tim Neuser, David Thilenius and Moritz Wiskirchen.
