Steller Confirm Corvette Crew For Brands Hatch

Steller Motorsport has confirmed its driver line-up for the 2025 GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup.

Matisse Lismont and Jesse Salmenautio will share the #24 Corvette Z06 GT3.R for the full season, which begins this weekend with the team’s home event at Brands Hatch. The duo will compete in the Silver Cup.

Lismont made his Sprint Cup debut last season with Comtoyou Racing, whilst Salmenautio is returning to the series after a season away.

The British outfit had a dream GT World Challenge Europe debut at Circuit Paul Ricard for the opening round of the Endurance Cup, as Lismont, Lorcan Hanafin and Kiern Jewiss finished second in the Silver Cup.

With current drivers’ championship leaders Charles Clark, Pedro Ebrahim, and James Kellett not contesting the Sprint Cup events, Lismont and Steller are well-placed to launch a challenge for the combined Silver Cup title.

“I’m looking forward to getting back in the Corvette and getting the sprint season started together with Steller Motorsport and Jesse,” said Lismont.

“We obviously had a good Paul Ricard with the podium, and I want to keep the positive flow going and continue aiming for high results.”

Salmenautio commented: “It’s exciting to be back in GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup, with a new car and a new team for me. The team’s already demonstrated its potential with the Corvette, and I feel we have a strong lineup, and I’m confident we can do well this weekend.”

“After an excellent showing at Paul Ricard, we’re excited to have Matisse back in the car in the sprint format,” added team manager Max Daymond.

“Bringing him together with Jesse gives us one of the most promising young pairings in the paddock. We’ve shown the potential of the Corvette already, and our potential as a team.

“Jesse’s GT pedigree is clear, and, combined, we believe we have the right ingredients to be competitive from the outset.”
