After yesterday’s announcement from Maserati of a multi-car, multi Championship effort with the Maserati GranTurismo MC GT4, Scuderia Villorba Corse are the first team to officially announce their part in the plan.
The Italian team will take part in the Competition102 GT4 European Series with four Maserati GranTurismo MC in GT4-spec and will become an official partner of Maserati.
Villorba Corse are in Abu Dhabi this week for the final round of the Maserati Trofeo World Series, where it technically manages the Redragon Motorsport car.
Alongside that effort the team are planning their 2016 GT4 European Series campaign.
SRO Motorsports Group announced that it has taken back responsibility in the series promotion with the 2016 calendar already almost finalised:
Apr. 24 Monza (ITA);
May 15 Pau (FRA);
June 12 Silverstone (GBR);
July 10 Spa (BEL);
TBA Nurburgring (GER);
Oct. 9 Zandvoort (NED).
