Verstappen Racing AMG Headlines 136-Car NLS2 Entry

A 136-car entry list has been revealed for the 58th ADAC Barbarossapreis, the second round of the 2026 Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS), which will be held this weekend.

This includes 26 cars in the top SP9 category, for what is effectively the season opener, after adverse weather conditions forced last weekend’s opening round to be called off.

The headline entry is the #3 Mercedes-AMG Team Verstappen Racing AMG GT3 EVO, which features four-time Formula 1 World Drivers’ Champion Max Verstappen alongside Daniel Juncadella and Jules Gounon. This will be Verstappen’s first race aboard the AMG GT3 EVO, which he will pilot at May’s ADAC 24H Nürburgring.

Winward Racing, the team fielding the #3 Mercedes-AMG, will also run its Ravenol-backed #80 AMG GT3 EVO for Maxime Martin and Fabian Schiller.

Three BMW M4 GT3 Evos are entered in Pro, with one car from Schubert Motorsport and two from ROWE Racing, whilst Schnabl Engineering will field its Dunlop and Falken-branded Porsche 911 GT3 Rs.

Konrad Motorsport has upgraded its Lamborghini Huracán GT3 to Evo II specification, and added Patricija Stalidzane to its line-up, whilst Red Bull Team Abt also represents the Italian brand.

Walkenhorst Motorsport, Realize Kondo Racing with Rinaldi and HRT Ford Racing are again present in Pro, with the only new addition to the class for this weekend being Scherer Sport PHX’s #16 Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II for Christopher Haase and Nico Hantke.

In Pro-Am, Hankook Competition’s #30 Porsche, KCMG’s #47 Mercedes-AMG and HRT Ford Racing’s #65 Mustang GT3 Evo are all new entries. Dinamic GT’s #54 Porsche, meanwhile, has switched from Pro to Pro-Am.

And in Am, the #5 Black Falcon Team EAE Porsche is set to make its first appearance of the season, as part of a four-car field.

Elsewhere, two cars will compete in SP-X. The GT3-based #81 BMW G81 M3 Touring 24H will be piloted by BMW M factory drivers Jens Klingmann and Ugo de Wilde for its racing debut, whilst Reiter Engineering has entered the #66 KTM X-Bow GTX.

And two additional GT3 cars are entered in AT 1, with Max Kruse Racing fielding a pair of alternative-fuelled Audi R8s.

In the lower classes, Loris Scheider, the son of DTM legend Timo, will make his NLS debut in the #669 BMW M240i Racing Cup. Several drivers will also be attempting to earn their A Permit.

These include Kerong Li, Hongli Ye and Anders Fjordbach, who are listed in SRS Team Sorg Rennsport’s #181 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS, as they target an assault on the Nürburgring 24 Hours with High Class Racing. Others of note include Aston Martin Racing Academy winner Kobe Pauwels (#488 BMW 128ti), McLaren GT3 Junior driver Thomas Fleming (#524 Toyota Supra) and one of Timo Scheider’s long-time DTM adversaries, Jamie Green (#680 BMW M240i Racing Cup).
